Hello, I am Olga. As far back as I can remember I have been drawing. I dedicated 12 years of my life to studying fine arts, art history, and graphic design before earning a diploma in Graphic Design and venturing into the publishing industry. Book design has always been my true passion, and it continues to inspire me to this day. Over the course of my 17-year career as an art director at various publishing houses I have had the privilege of creating more than 2000 captivating covers for books and magazines.
Since 2011 I have been working independently.
My main focus is watercolour painting, especially landscapes and nature subjects. I also work in illustration — primarily decorative botanical motifs, as well as commercial illustrations for books and apps.
In addition, I design knitwear patterns for sweaters, hats and scarves, which are also just playing with motifs and colours.
Despite this variety of work, watercolour painting remains my primary focus, and I regularly take part in competitions.
Currently I reside in the small and charming city of Graz.
